There seems to be a theme of these development clinics, this time of year.
See below for emails from Kaitlin and Johhny Mac (respectively) for info on the upcoming "try-and-see" days being held by Black Betty (women's) and Firestorm (men's) clubs.

Hi Ladies,

So if you haven’t already heard the Women of Brisbane Ultimate will be holding a Development Day on Sunday 6^th November.

This session is open to ladies of all skill levels and experience. If you want to improve your ulti skills then do not miss this opportunity!

After wondering around Annerley fields last night I was astounded (!!) by the amount of female talent Brisbane has. It would be really awesome if all ladies playing BUML could make it to this session.

Hey all,

Firestorm's excited to announce a new event for the 2012 season, the
Firestarter.

For the club, it's a kickstart to our official preseason training in
November.
However, we are also inviting extra players to come along as a training
clinic.
We're excited to be able to offer a miniature "Qld training camp", on a
small scale, and hope this is an exciting opportunity for players to
join us.

We do need to restrict numbers & playing standard for this event, so it
won't be open to all.
We're putting together an invite list at the moment. A description of
what we're looking for is on the website.
If you're interested and would like to come and train, get in contact
